One of the best benefits a service member has is their GI Bill or their Post-9/11. Both of these enable active duty (and selected reserves) and separated service members to use funds they have contributed on an undergraduate or post-graduate education. It also can allow them to transfer the benefit to eligible family members.
Tuition Assistance is also available to active duty service members if funds are available to assist with tuition needs.
